(Jüdische Familiantenbücher)
In 2013, all 190 volumes of the archival fonds “Books of Jewish Familiants (Jewish Family Books)” and 4 volumes of Family Books of the Moravian Jewish religious communities in Hranice, Kostelec (Hodonín District) and Kyjov, which are housed in the fonds “The Council of Jewish Religious Communities in the Czech Regions”, were digitized in the National Archives with the financial support of JewishGen from the USA. In agreement with the management of the Archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague, the Moravian Provincial Archives in Brno and the Provincial Archives in Opava, the Family Books of Moravian Jewish communities found in the documents of patrimonial administration (PA Opava, MPA Brno) and Jewish religious communities (AJMP) were added to the digitized fonds, a total of 24 volumes. For those interested in the history of the Jews in the Czech lands and in the Jewish genealogy, the Books of Jewish Familiants are now available online here.
