— List of documents concerning the promotion of municipalities to market towns and towns (PDF – 618 kB) from the fonds of the National Archives from the years (1832) 1856–1918. Archival records stated in this list of documents are lent (only on-site) in the research room of the National Archives in Prague-Chodovec. The list of sources was created in an effort to make clearly available records stored in several fonds of the National Archives. First of all, these are files deposited in the fonds of the Ministry of the Interior – Vienna (Ministerstvo vnitra – Vídeň; MV/R) and in its part Archive of Nobility (Šlechtický archiv; ŠA). Promotion of municipalities in Bohemia was also included in the agenda of the Bohemian Governor’s Office (České místodržitelství; ČM). The files are deposited in the general registry of the ČM under shelf mark 13 – Municipal Affairs. These files are part of the general agenda concerning municipalities. With regard to the structure and scope of the files, not all the files concerning the promotion of municipalities have been yet included in the list. The files from the period after 1910 are deposited in the fonds of the Provincial Office, Prague (Zemský úřad Praha; ZÚ), the successor institution of the ČM.
