Instructions for reviewers

The review process ensures consistency of quality and objective evaluation of the content of the journal. It is a key tool for deciding whether a submitted article would be accepted or rejected. The whole process also provides feedback to authors on how to improve the submission so that it could be published in the journal.

  • The reviewer must maintain objectivity at all times.
  • Reviewers are chosen by the journal editors according to the recommendations of the Editorial Board and regarding the thematic focus of the article and the reviewer.
  • Review reports are internal materials of the Editorial Office and are archived.
  • The editors do not disclose the name of the reviewers to the authors.
  • Reviewers may refuse to participate in a review due to a conflict of professional interests.
  • The reviewer should follow the instructions of the editors and meet the deadline for submitting the review.
  • The reviewer’s factual and general comments should be clearly stated in the review or in the manuscript of the submission. The conclusion of the review should be a clear statement under what conditions or whether at all the reviewer recommends the text for publication.
  • Reviewers may not redistribute a submission, provide it to others, or misuse the information or knowledge contained therein for personal or other purposes.
  • The reviewer should draw the author’s attention to the missing significant published titles on the topic.
  • Please deliver the completed form electronically in the appropriate form and send it electronically or by post to the address of the Editorial Office. If possible, scan and send the last page of the form with your handwritten signature to the editor’s email address.
